The detection range is minimal. Regularly you don't even recognize a garbage truck at our entrance. The DVR needs direct access to the router, so it is not fully wireless. The UI just sucks. Just like the application. I should have spent another $200 and gotten a much better system. Night vision works, but it's on all the time and not just when it's activated, so the bugs like it and the spiders are constantly wrapping their webs around it. And anyone with the simplest detection system will know the location of the camera. You can easily contact technical support using the QR code on the dash cam. But if your system shuts down while you are at work, there is nothing you can do about it because you cannot contact technical support. This system sucks.
