Does not work with Mac laptops and does not come with power adapter
Does not work with Mac laptops. It will probably work with an external power supply, but it doesn't come with it and it doesn't even mention a power supply in the product description. I borrowed a 5V DC power adapter from another device and it started smoking and shutting down my Mac. It's probably not a compatible power supply, but it should come with one and/or have reverse polarity protection, or just use the USB connector if 5VDC is needed.
