TL ; DR return of defective bearings. Was refunded and the company sent me 3 free kits which worked perfectly. I will be staying with Yellow Jacket for a long time and will encourage all my friends to do the same. for fast response time. **Another note I thought of after writing this: even uncontaminated bearings are a little audible when spinning freely or even fresh on the wheel, but they settle down after a while and performance becomes perfect. from the box. I first ordered these bearings with red spacers and washers because I was curious to go a different route than the standard red bones I'm so used to. They cost a little less and the color options are good, so that was my main motivation for even dropping the bones. But it really comes down to performance. That wasn't enough for my first set. 2 or 3 bearings ran with no resistance or noise but the rest were riddled with problems so I immediately sent them back and asked for a refund. I was just a few clicks away from ordering a set of bones when I received an email from NWM, the company that makes and sells Yellow Jacket bearings. They were worried that I would send them back and wanted to prove to me that they are really good bearings so they sent me 3 free sets. Any bearing from each of these kits will work fine, as will 2 or 3 from the first kit. No problem. If there's one thing I respect about companies, it's their determination to prove to their consumers that they're providing them with quality products at reasonable prices, which these people certainly do. As with everything that is mass-produced in the 21st century, there are errors and defects. If the system were designed to be 100% perfect, the prices would be 100% higher. Kudos to Yellow Jacket for still making sure I have everything I need to build my new board and then some. Be sure to buy your next kit from these guys. Fantastic quality and even if you have very little chance of getting a fake these guys have your back making sure you know they treat their customers well. I'm now a lifetime Yellow Jacket customer and will encourage all my friends to buy.
