My wife runs a small business. Requires wide area WiFi coverage and more than 40 WiFi devices connected simultaneously. We also need different channels for the admin, our kids and guests. This model fully meets my needs. The setup is a bit tricky. I use a daisy chain so the WiFi can cover a large area. I didn't pay attention to which satellite 1 or 2 is during the initial setup. At first I had very weak or no signal on the last satellite. The signal got back to normal after I swapped the satellites at points 1 and 2. I believe satellite 1 needs to connect to the router and satellite 2 needs to connect to satellite 1. Put stickers on the satellites during the initial setup, otherwise you'll mix them up. an app called Netgear Insight which is outdated. After updating to firmware 2.5.0.108, Netgear added Wireless-3 for IOT (Internet of Things). Both Wireless 2 and 3 can share 2.4G and 5G channels with different SSIDs and passwords. Wireless-1 can only use SSID for 2.4G/5G. I am also adding a guest portal. So I have six SSIDs. Netgear Insight can only show 3 SSIDs no matter how many you have. Several times my Wireless-2 2.4G and 5G got merged under the same name as shown in Insight. I suspect Netgear Insight did. He also finds it difficult to reconnect to the Internet himself after restarting the cable modem and router. It took over 3 hours to restore internet access. Immediately after the restart, all SSIDs are displayed without problems, but there is internet access. I've been playing around for over 3 hours and finally got access to it. I restarted 3 times and this happens 3 times. To this day I don't know what happened. Right now I don't reboot my router at all because I can't afford to lose internet for 3 hours. Guests will complain. Aside from the issues mentioned above, this is a really good job. It offers a reliable WIFI connection no matter where you are. The speed of the last satellite is almost the same as that of the router itself. There are separate radio channels for different purposes. The guest portal has a password but is not secure. This really solves my problem that WIFI is almost non-existent at the end of my house. It is also much better than WiFi extenders.
