I love these spoons. I tried to explain to someone why I like these spoons and found that they probably think I eat ice cream weirdly. I enjoy my ice cream so I like small pieces and these spoons are perfect for that. The handle comes in handy, especially when digging or cleaning a good vein. You can also dig and scratch the walls of your pint more easily. These spoons are thin but strong. You shouldn't be trying to scoop ice cream out of the box with it, but I've cut plenty of hard pints and never flexed once. The blunt end doesn't feel sharp or unfinished when you rub it with your lips, and because it's smaller and doesn't have a deep bowl, you can scrape off every bite without leaving sticky lips. I also use them to eat yogurt. And for a while I used them to scrape off all the leftover cat food but the metal scratched them pretty badly. This is my third set.
