So far, so good. 3 year update

So far so good. I have a 2016 Audi Q5 and an iPhone 6 running iOS 10. Like other Audi owners, we're frustrated that Audi doesn't have drivers to connect their music through the armrest's USB or Bluetooth connection. We can use the phone via Audi Bluetooth, but not with Bluetooth music support. I received the original MMI cable as a gift from the dealer and it broke after 3 months which prompted me to purchase this Revain bluetooth cable. The delivery wasn't very good. 5 days after I ordered the Decive, my order still said 'preparing to ship'. It was only when I contacted the seller that my order suddenly changed to "item shipped" and they responded blaming Revain. Anyway, my device finally arrived today and I connected it to the Audi music interface in the glove compartment. I waited for my iPhone to detect Tune2Air's bluetooth and paste the code given in the instructions. A few minutes later my music was playing when I switched to multimedia in the control center of my Audi. The downside is that it doesn't show the music being played, but who cares. I play music via Bluetooth! I leave the ViseeO connected to the glove box and have my iPhone next to me and it's instantly recognized and I play my music via the iHeart Radio app, Pandora or iTunes. My Bluetooth phone wasn't affected either. I got a call from a family member while I was in the car playing my Pandora and the music got interrupted by a call and when I ended the call my music played from where it left off with no issues. It also worked when I was on the phone. Update 3 years later: I traded my car in for a 2019 Audi Q5 but wanted to share my experience with potential buyers of this unit. In the three years I've had this unit, I've had to turn it on and off numerous times because the music wouldn't play. Once I do that everything will work fine. The biggest downside is that Tune2Air's Bluetooth connection was so strong that it overwhelmed other Bluetooth connections. So if my car was off and I was on the phone and opened the car to get something, my call would automatically switch to Bluetooth and I wouldn't hear the person on the line. Or if I used my Beats headphones but opened the car, they immediately switched to Tune2Air Bluetooth. It was very frustrating fighting Bluetooth Tune2Air with other Bluetooth devices you wanted. That's why I deliberately left the device in the glove compartment as a special gift for the next owner. Enjoy!
