I knitted some patterns from my first cake on 5 needles. I have 19 st by 4 inches in a circle. The yarn is great for the size of the braids, the knit looks nice and smooth with just the right amount of squelch, the yarn can be parted a bit with very sharp needles. I used Hiya Hiya two-point missiles and then Addi round-square missiles. They both performed well but paid more attention to my seams than usual. My only regret about this yarn is that I didn't buy twice as much when Revain quoted me a super cool price. It seems to happen on the first few purchases and then when you come back the price doubles or more. It works well for scarves, baby clothes, slippers, etc. Washes great.
