Fits perfectly in my Dodge Dakota's fuel tank. I loosely placed it on a retaining ring with the set screws on the tool and then squeezed them together as I tightened it. I chewed off a few nicks on the lock ring because it was too tight, but then I tried tapping one of the tool arms with a hammer while rotating the tool and the lock ring came loose. For a techie this is a great tool to get the job done for only $20 and delivered to my mailbox. You don't have to wait for the box to come to the door.
