Compact, durable and comfortable to use
These are strong yet compact pliers. It can easily twist a pair of 12 or 14 gauge wires together, or three in a pinch, and if those wires require some care you can easily cut the wires with a cutter. Many other pliers can handle more or thicker wire, but they are larger and bulkier. That makes them less than ideal, but they forgo that compromise and add grippy handles to boot. As simple as it is, many pliers fail because of stiff or clumsy hinges, but no problem here either. FWIW, I got these as a side review but I liked them so much that I ended up buying some more tongs to finish off the look of the set.
