I went ahead and replaced instead of grinding. The rework was 40 and the gasket to make up for what they removed was about 25. It was cheaper to just get a new flywheel and then you also know you won't have any problems because you may not have the correct shim is or something - something like that
Pros
- Replacement flywheel: Modern compact clutch systems leave little room for error. The clearance between the disc damper and the heads of the flywheel crankshaft bolts is so small that the flywheel must be replaced each time the clutch is installed.
