Does something and saves money

It was recommended that this be replaced when fitting a new clutch and this brand was recommended. The mechanic installed it with no problems; works as it should and we save some money.

Pros
  • OEM flywheel: As an original equipment manufacturer, LuK develops specifications for individual vehicles. Each OEM part is carefully crafted to meet the exact requirements of the vehicle, considering year, make and make!
Cons
  • Not working

GOOD QUALITY: Flywheel Tools

The result of good quality. I am in the process of replacing my 1998 Ford Ranger 3.0 rear wheel drive with a manual transmission. This flywheel fits and looks high quality. Pressure plate screw (M8x1.25 class/class 10.9)

Pros
  • OEM Flywheel Replacement Every component is designed and manufactured to perform flawlessly and every LuK flywheel is 100% function tested to ensure it meets OEM performance specifications!
Cons
  • I vaguely remember

Bargain: Flywheel tool

I went ahead and replaced instead of grinding. The rework was 40 and the gasket to make up for what they removed was about 25. It was cheaper to just get a new flywheel and then you also know you won't have any problems because you may not have the correct shim is or something - something like that

Pros
  • Replacement flywheel: Modern compact clutch systems leave little room for error. The clearance between the disc damper and the heads of the flywheel crankshaft bolts is so small that the flywheel must be replaced each time the clutch is installed.
Cons
  • Nothing here

Good machine work on Tools & Equipment

Seems to work. I have 200 miles on the flywheel and I have checked that the car is running of good quality. Also, I don't have cheap steel, I really pay attention to that because I lost a lot of money and returned to customers several times due to the poor quality of Chinese parts. I hope this will change soon in our country, otherwise my business will perish!

Pros
  • Flywheel LuK. Designed as a bolt-on replacement, the LuK RepSet and one-piece flywheel options offer higher torque, and many feature larger diameter clutches than the original clutches they replace.
Cons
  • Not fashionable

OEM Exact Match - Ford Ranger

This is the original Ford Vulcan 3.0 V6 engine flywheel used in my 1998 Ford Ranger, but it should only work on one Ford manual transmission vehicle of any year with a 3.0 Vulcan V6 engine. As a precaution, don't rely on the Revain part search script - it's an exact replacement for me, but Revain said it wouldn't fit. That says a lot about my cars. Go to your local auto parts website, find the correct part numbers, then hook it up to Revain and forget the part lookup scripts. problems. I use it

Pros
  • OEM Clutch Replacement Kits: Our LuK LFW138 flywheels fit a wide variety of vehicles! The flywheel is an essential part of clutch replacement.
Cons
  • Minor issues
