Review on πŸ‹οΈ BALEAF Men's Yoga Leggings Running Tights: Pockets, Compression & Performance for Workout, Dance, and Cycling by Chad Delgado

Good value for men

I was a little hesitant to try something called leggings but I'm glad I did. These baleaf leggings are ideal for 30-55 degree (F) weather. In sub-zero temperatures the material is probably too thin and I'm in my 55s and wearing shorts. I'm happy to report that they aren't too tight in the crotch (no one will see anything out of place), which bothered me a lot, and they don't sag in that area either. I wear boxer shorts underneath and the leggings are not so tight that the boxer shorts roll up on the leg. But make no mistake, they really do hug the lower body. I mainly use them for running, but they are also suitable for cycling with padded shorts underneath. You don't have to wear shorts over it. Very glad they have two very deep pockets. I have a skinny pair of Baleaf track pants (probably thought of as leggings in my mind) and they only have a tiny zippered pocket on the back for keys. In these leggings you can easily store your mobile phone on one side and ID card and keys on the other side. I wish they had some sort of seal but they need to be deep enough so nothing leaks out. Those other Baleaf pants I mentioned have a drawstring at the elastic waist, these leggings don't. You are very unlikely to miss it here as the leggings hold up very well. Again, the fabric is of medium density. They are not sheer or fleece lined like other Baleaf pants I own. These leggings absorb sweat well, just like any high-performance fabric. They fit the waist and length. I bought the XXL because I'm honestly overweight but have naturally muscular legs. They weren't too long (I'm 6') and ended right at my ankles. I personally wouldn't prefer messing around in them, but I could see guys doing it because they're quite comfortable. I can put them on and take them off with ease. Back to the value proposition, many brands charge two or three times what Baleaf does. And Baleaf's quality control and fabric is just as good. Not sure about product durability or customer service, but everything else makes for a solid, functional product at a reasonable price.

Pros
  • High test results for support and durability
Cons
  • Ugly packaging
