This is a great product and very easy to install. I have to park my car outside in western New York in the winter and these straps hold the car cover fairly tight to the body so the wind can't get under the cover and blow it off. In my old car cover, I had to drill holes in the bottom and tie a rope to the car's undercarriage to keep it from blowing away in the wind. This product is much easier to install and better than the old method in my opinion. Update: We had wind gusts of up to 80+ mph last week and these straps held the car cover tight to the car and didn't tear the cover! I'm very glad I bought these to hold my car cover. I used 2 sets of these to better secure the lid to the car.
