Packaging The packaging of the D3 Hero was excellent. Everything was solid and could not move. Received without damage.AssemblyAssembly was easy. It took us 30-45 minutes to set it up. Followed the YouTube video step by step. All setup documentation is on the SD card. So if you need paper, you need to print it out before assembling. Leveling the bed was easy. Took only a few minutes, the large leveling knobs are a plus. Running again, all documentation is on the SD card. You can download it from Hictop website, view and print it before you get the printer. The SD card contains many already cut g-code examples and .stl files to try and start the printer. All files show twice the extrusion performance of the printer. *Usage I first used the ribbon on the print bed as I was unfamiliar with printing on glass. I've since switched to glue stick and have tried a few pieces with just clean glass. After working on the first layer settings I will print on clean glass. Quality The quality of the printer is very good. It is very durable and will not wobble or wobble. I leveled it when installing and haven't adjusted it since. There can be 15 small prints. I'm just starting to print some of my big projects. Value This printer is of great value considering it is an IDEX and has a large print area. The kit includes everything you need to print. Tools, yarn, cutters, ribbon, print files, everything. During setup/startup I never used anything I already have. Setting it up and running can be a little intimidating for a new user, but you can work as a single thread until you get the hang of it. I am happy with my purchase and will update as I print more.
