I was looking for a monitor to replace my 2004 17" 5:4 Dell Ultrasharp. It has served me well but I had outgrown the small screen and needed something bigger and better. I stumbled upon this beauty and she snapped at me. It's a lot wider than I thought it would be and to be honest it took me a few hours to get used to it. But I haven't looked back since. The screen is very sharp and clear. The monitor itself has almost no bezel which is aesthetically pleasing video games look GREAT on screen the only issues I have with the monitor are minor but need to be addressed: the stand itself is quite short so if like me you are on If you're used to a big monitor you'll need to support it with some boxes.. Also, the inputs to the connectors on the back match exactly, I barely have the DVI cable (which didn't come with the monitor!). connected because the cable clamp was in the way. The monitor is very shiny and reflects. You will often end up seeing your face because the monitor is effectively a mirror. One last, very small note: some websites are not formatted for widescreen monitors, such as B. Youtube, which places everything on the left side of the monitor. You need a custom script to center the page. Overall, I think the purchase was definitely worth it. I give 5 stars because the cons I listed are very minor.
