Ruideng UM25C Bluetooth USB Power Meter ideal for hackers and geeks

Most of the good reviews on this unit are for the Ruideng model, I don't know if there are any replicas as it's sold under different brands by many vendors, but this unique design works very well functionally. The company has introduced many models and whoever develops them is worth seeing as they know their stuff. So if you want a Bluetooth USB power meter, getting a real Ruideng is a must. The product photo shows a USB test load, which is not included in the scope of delivery. Because devices use the USB power standard, being able to optimize charging with the right cable and power source can be confusing as users cannot tell if the cable is actually delivering power or if the USB-A port is more than 5 V can provide Ah needed to charge the battery. The ProsBoot screen shows the Ruideng logo, version 2.0, excellent protective cover for storage and transportation. Accuracy is at least within specification of 0.5% VDC and 1% ADC compared to Fluke 87V and HP6114. Precision power supply Stable and correct data acquisition for 24 hours test burning in BT connection, Win10 and Android apps run fast and smoothly with no stutters; the data is stored on the dongle and only the data after pairing is displayed graphically in the applications. The Win10 program has an undocumented feature to set the plot scale. Just click on the highest digit on the axis and enter a new value. The PC application is based on National Instruments libraries, known for their robust, easy-to-read, bright LCD display. Screen, easy navigation for dongle-only use Design pays off for USB needs, such as device, the resistance algorithm is useful but not as accurate as it could be, can be used to compare cables but not for the actual cable resistance. The identification of the fast loading algorithm is vague if identified correctly, but not crucial. reading exactly what they do can be confusing for non-nerds as the different models are very close. therArial Unicode MS fonts are included in the package and should be installed but can't get Win10 to use them so the font in the app is a bit large for screens and afanumeric can flow from their placeholders. Zoom cannot be changed in the Android app. The app was recently released on Google Play. , so users should be aware of the issues of downloading APKs from unverified sources. The PC application loads slowly because it copies a large number of libraries. It's bloated for what it does, but it works reliably.
