The straps are strong but thin so they tend to rattle if mishandled. Otherwise they would have gotten 5 stars. We used them to move some office furniture upstairs from the basement. I built a wheelless furniture cart out of wood, actually more like a sled, and used 2 straps to attach the tables and filing cabinets to the cart. The other two straps attach to a small boat winch at the top of the ladder and attach to studded eyebolts inside the closet. My (retired) wife and I got the job done and avoided sore muscles, accidents and the expense of hiring movers. Over time we will find other uses, but these belts have stood the test of time and paid for themselves in this one use.
