I bought these to tie together household items (beds, furniture, washer/dryer etc) and have used them quite a bit. I can honestly say they keep getting simpler and easier to use when you need them. They can be a bit tricky at first, but once you get used to them, they work great. The hooks on them are quite deep so they stay secure enough even if the strap isn't very tight, which is good for fragile items. Highly recommend, especially since they cost twice as much as your local hardware store.

I used this kit to haul a piano (gift for my granddaughter) about 100 miles in a 5x8 U-Haul trailer. The U-Haul trailer has 2 rails on the sides and front of the trailer with 1" slots to secure your load. The slots are only about 1/4 inch deep, making it impossible to use rope to secure the load. . The 1" wide straps in this set are perfect for the slots in the U-Haul and work well when moving the piano. Only criticism is that the plastic tabs don't hold up very well.
