These are my first ceramic knives. 5 stars because they appear to be good quality and THEY ARE SHARP! Insanely sharp, dangerously sharp. Don't leave them in the cutlery drawer unattended, don't let your children get close to these knives - bloody accidents are likely. My only criticism is that the kit doesn't come with a nice plastic knife guard - those blades are dangerous. If you don't have a chopping block to store, you need one. I can't confirm how long they stay sharp or if they can chip or break over time - this is my first experience with ceramic blades. they are hot! joel
