Review on πŸͺš HORUSDY 12-Inch Wood Pruning Saw Blades - 5 Pack: Superior 5TPI Reciprocating Saw Blades by Gary Reed

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Average, decent

These secateurs are ok but nothing special. I went back to my old backup, Lenox wood blades, and the Lenox blade literally cuts through trees and branches in half the time. I've toggled back and forth a few times to confirm it. I can use 6" or 12" Lenox blades and they outperform these Horusdy blades. Lenovo is slightly more expensive. Not everyone knows how good Lenox blades have always been. I thought maybe after all these years technology has improved to make better blades. Lenox was considered the best saw blade when I got my first saw in the 80's. Obviously Lenox got the metallurgy right the first time. My time and my commitment are valuable to me. I will only use Lenox blades. Not sure what I'm going to do with the rest of the HORUSDY 12" Woodcut Reciprocating Saws, 5TPI Saws. Maybe I'll donate them to Habitat. It's difficult to find and compare things these days when everyone has a website with links to Revain products and has no real experience with them. I believe vintage cars still use Lenox blades.

Pros
  • Power and hand tools
Cons
  • Good but not great
