Gaskets don't fit well hence leaking

I REALLY wanted to like this as they are cheaper than the competition but you get what you pay for. The seals have been removed and that's probably because they will fall out in shipping anyway. The gasket has a flat side and a rounded side with no explanation of how to install them. So I started with the rounded side down. I closed the lid VERY tight, poured in coffee and it started leaking out from under the lid. When I removed the lid I had coffee everywhere. I assumed I hadn't installed the gasket properly so I cleaned everything and tried again. The leak was WORSE when the gasket was flat side down. So I looked again at the instructions that came with it to see what I was missing, but all it said was to get the pad into the track by pressing it with my finger. So I tried round side down one last time…. I kept the lid closed and just held it in the pouring position (not completely upside down like in one reviewer's photo because the problem isn't with the spout sealing...that's fine!). The result...drops under the lid. So that's it for me. I washed them and put them back in the box to send them back. Three tries is more than enough for what should have happened the first time. I recommend the County Line brand. Here's what I have now. It comes with a gasket and will not leak.
