If you need a smooth transition from single to double, this article is not for you.
One of the reasons for purchasing a downpipe is the split in the exhaust pipe. to a certain extent the effect of a "chamber silencer". This isn't bad for me as I only needed the 2" dual outputs and will actually help me keep the noise down. This is not an article for you. If you don't care about performance, this item works great and is suitable for 2.25 inch hoses.
