Review on 🔨 Makita HM0870C 11 lb Demolition Hammer SDS Max by John Rivera

It's not often that a tool far exceeds my expectations. This tool is great. I had six 3" x 3" x 18" holes to dig supports for the patio canopy I'm building. With this tool I was able to quickly excavate not only decomposed granite and hard clay, but also about 6 inches of the existing concrete base removing that was interfering with my new base placement. I also cut a 24" x 24" hole in my existing 3" thick deck for a footer that was within the existing deck boundary. from the 24 x 24' patio section (shown above) it is ideal for small jobs splitting concrete or digging very hard dirt. Light weight allows it to be used both horizontally and upright, which is very convenient. The smooth launch surface and the absence of major vibrations allow long use without fatigue. My only complaint is that there are no more shovels to dig with. The 24 inch shovel for digging would greatly reduce the need to bend down when digging in nii pits. .I have already come up with about 20 projects that this tool will help me with once I complete this one. I just wish I had had one like this a long time ago.
