This potentiometer is a great tool for anyone who is interested in electronics and wants to start prototyping circuits without having to use a soldering iron. It's easy to use and the connections ARE very secure .As my tests showed the potentiometer worked perfectly and the output was smooth. The only con is that it has a limited range of values, but for most basic projects it should be more than enough.
