I can't believe this antenna changed my Mighty Mule 371 Gate Opener I no longer have to drive to the gate to get the remote to open the gate. Now I can open the gate long before I reach it, so now when I get there the gate is open and I don't have to wait for it to open. I can't believe that for the price of these antennas, Mighty Mule can't use them in place of the small 3 inch antennas that came with it. However, I installed an extension cord to raise the antenna about 3 feet above where the old antenna was and it didn't help much with the original antenna. Also, we use a wireless visitor keypad and had issues as it was set up not to open the gate and we had to back the car up a few feet to get it working. With the new antenna this problem is now gone and now after installation it works as it should. I can only recommend these antennas. I applied some epoxy to the underside to keep it from sagging into a straight position and also to prevent rainwater from getting into that area. Then when I installed it I took a small round clip and stuck it between the base of the antenna where it was about half turned on each side and tightened it to keep the antenna from front to back moved in strong winds.
