Review on ๐Ÿ”ฅ Enhance Performance with Silver NVMe Heatsinks: Double-Sided Cooling for M.2 2280mm SSD by Jason Wright

Works very efficiently

I'm using this with a Sabrent Rocket NVMe and it keeps the temperature between 10C and 15C compared to ambient. Compared to my ADATA SX8000 running under the same conditions at 45ยฐC without a heatsink and at 22ยฐC with the heatsink that came with my Aorus X570 Mobile Board, this is an excellent result. Although of course the comparison will be with the Sabrent disc itself. It comes with three thermal pads. I wasn't sure if this would allow you to swap discs over time, but I used one over and one under the disc and one was left over. I had to press the two pieces together firmly to get the screws in and hold the pressure until the screws were tight. When purchasing a heatsink for an NVMe drive, make sure you have room for anything that will be installed over the drive slot. In my case I have the GPU above the second drive and it fits nicely under the cooling solution on top of the GPU. A bigger cooler would be a problem.

Pros
  • Bidirectional cooling
Cons
  • Very expensive
