Arrived in less than estimated time with a thank you note explaining the satisfaction guarantee. On the piece I received, every 50 inches of smooth surface is consistent in color and texture. About 45 inches toe sides are uniform, all within the heart of the strip, with just a few inches difference at the ends. One end was slightly rougher, the other thinner and smoother. The package arrived slightly folded in the box. It straightened itself out within minutes of being rolled out to my desktop. It was held by a rubber strap which could warp the leather if left too long but it looks like the leather was stored flat and the strap was only worn for shipping. The cut lines aren't perfectly even, but they're very close, and certainly close enough. I see no dents, dents, scratches, cuts or signs of abuse on this product. I intend to use this to polish a large blade and belt so am very pleased to see 45 inches of very smooth and consistent leather. Once the bracing and anchoring points are in place, the entire 50 inch piece is used. Not only would I "order" it again, I would "order" it again.
