I agree with others that the software has its limitations and idiosyncrasies. The interface is Windows-like (Windows 90s in a way) and not immediately intuitive in many ways. However, it offers plenty of helper tools and online support (free) to make up for that and help you get the most out of it. Once you know the basic principles, it's easy to use and very flexible. There's also no doubt that this is the best quilting software currently available (unless EQ8 is better). The ability to create your own blocks puts this app way ahead of the competition, and previewing my own fabrics in designs is fantastic (although it can be tricky to scan properly). All in all it has its flaws but I wouldn't use anything else and as far as I know it's worth every penny.
