Good use of bluetooth - in ear headphones

I was looking for a bluetooth option to listen to my phone while swimming. H2O Audio Surge works well. The distance to the phone can be an issue. He easily loses contact. However, it gave me what I wanted for listening to Spotify while swimming. (I have an infinity pool and I'm immobile.) I don't know how well this will work for those doing laps.
