I was looking for a simple descaling option to rebuild my 5.3 LS aluminum pistons. After a long search, I found that this had the best rating score. It really works! I poured the liquid into a 5 gallon bucket so I could soak 4 flasks at a time. I soaked them for 24 hours without touching them or mechanically cleaning them before diving. When I took them out and rinsed them in hot water, everything just washed off. I couldn't believe it. I didn't have to clean ring grooves or anything like that. You look brand new. These things are where they are! I bought another gallon so I can put my head down!
