Review on SMAKN® Channel Isolated Optocoupler Trigger by Alexander Craner
Not so good on 3.3V devices
I thought they would work well with 3.3V PICs but found the coils weren't getting full voltage. They are only in a partial state when using a 3.3V trigger and need at least 5V to fire properly.
