Purchased for leather back pad. The lining gives room for my topknot. What I don't like about this suspension is that the screws are barely enough to connect to the studs. The bolts are shorter and thicker than the ones that come standard with the helmet, so they thread into the helmet rather than going through a hole in the helmet, making it almost impossible to secure the bolt. Also, the bolt snaps into the suspension and won't rotate on its own without re-rotating the entire suspension, making it almost impossible for the screw to fit the bolt. The leather patch on the back is not adjustable, so my topknot has to be very low on the back of my head, at the top of my neck. The binding is very small. I wear a small helmet and the strap is very tight around the chin and the back of my head. This is better than the standard pendant, which has a square rather than rectangular pillow, making it impossible to wear a topknot. Unfortunately, I bought the product a few months ago while training and am trying it out on another exercise, so I'm not sure if I can return the product.
