This is an inexpensive pumpkin carving kit that does the job perfectly. As tools we have 2 saws and a shovel. Other items will come in handy in more unusual situations. The handles seem sturdy, but we've only cut 2 pumpkins so far. We really wonder if tools dull quickly or not. The orange holder is a nice addition, it's convenient to store tools in it after cleaning. Definitely worth buying the kit to make the process easier, safer and easier. I haven't used any kits other than the cheap ones so I don't have a lot to compare and that's why I rate them high based on my experience.
