Some reviews mentioned adjustment was difficult so I took the last wrap out of the buckles and then adjusted all four buckles and it was easy. If all the settings are right, I put the belt on the last curve with no problems. The dog has been walking in the harness for a few months now and climbs into the harness like his old hat. I tighten the leash and clip the plastic buckle and then use the leash with a carabiner that goes right into the strap slot. I use this in the back seat of an extended cab pickup truck with the seats folded. It has space to walk and sit and is very comfortable. Today we took him for a couple of hours and he lay down and stayed there the whole trip. The harness is very durable and I am confident that both my dog and I will use this product safely. I worried that the 80-pound object could fly freely around the truck and fly forward in the accident. This harness completely eliminates that worry and I think the dog will be safe. win win
