Comfortable, versatile and powerful!

I used them when transporting 2 large dogs (1 yellow labrador, 1 basset hound) in my SUV. Their boxes didn't fit so I just strapped them to the back seat of my car and it worked GREAT! They could even sleep next to each other and it was easy to get them in and out of the car. I attached a bungee strap to the seat belt clip to keep it secure. This kept them from jumping out until I put a leash on them! If you are looking for something safe, they will definitely keep your dog where you want and…

Well made but chunky

This would definitely be exceptional in terms of safety but it is very heavy and looks uncomfortable for walking or everyday use. In addition, the harness also hangs freely measured according to the dog's body structure, even when adjusted. Dogs with a stocky build, like a bulldog or corgi, may be a better fit than a deep-chested, long-legged dog, like a standard poodle or greyhound. he stretched out his legs and sat on them. It was too difficult to reach in the back seat to remove completely…

NOT RECOMMENDED for anything other than transporting a car

My dog slipped while we were waiting on the median with moderate traffic in both directions. Luckily the man waiting at the light honked his horn and pointed to my dog. When I looked at him, he was lying and happily chewing gum sticks. So damn lucky this time. So many 'what ifs'. The harness has been adjusted to a width of two fingers (about 1.5 inches), which is commonly recommended by harness manufacturers and handlers. I won't be able to use this harness for walking next time because I…

The dog comes in and we're both safe

Some reviews mentioned adjustment was difficult so I took the last wrap out of the buckles and then adjusted all four buckles and it was easy. If all the settings are right, I put the belt on the last curve with no problems. The dog has been walking in the harness for a few months now and climbs into the harness like his old hat. I tighten the leash and clip the plastic buckle and then use the leash with a carabiner that goes right into the strap slot. I use this in the back seat of an extended

I have a medium sized dog, now he weighs about 45 or 50 pounds. The initial process of adjusting the straps to his size was a major pain, especially since he likes to bite into the material that makes up the straps. After tightening the straps so that they are securely fastened, which takes a good five minutes, at least unless you have a well-trained dog that sits perfectly still, you will need to roll up any excess straps and secure them with Velcro. , and if you don't tighten them tightly…

The dog slides right out of him

I bought this harness because the handles on the back were very strong and could be used with a harness. I have another harness for my other much smaller dog that I've been using for about 16 years, it's no longer in production and I've never found one this good. This one seemed almost done, maybe just good for the car but not for running. The side straps can be tightened, but it's tricky, otherwise the extra length of the strap either dangles all over the place, or you can fold it up and have…
