I read the reviews on this unit prior to purchasing it and my only concern was the oft-mentioned continuous beeping after your food has finished a cycle. I decided that I could live with it because the features on this thing checked all of my boxes. Besides, I'd read enough reviews of other microwaves on Revain that began with DANGEROUS or described a microwave almost burning someone's house down and decided to stick with a trusted manufacturer like Sharp. They've been making these things for a very long time.And the beeping isn't terrible - it doesn't beep nonstop, it gives a few beeps every minute to remind you that your food or beverage is done. A little annoying, sure, but not a deal-breaker. I generally don't let anything sit in a microwave for long periods of time anyway.The features on this are nice. I've tried the softening mode for both butter and cream cheese and it works flawlessly. Defrosting, sensor reheat - everything just works. To get the size, wattage and features at this price is a bargain.This sucker is big and heavy, which is to be expected for a microwave with this many cubic feet. It took a quite a big heave-ho to get it onto my microwave cart. The white color is attractive and doesn't show fingerprints. So far it's been a dependable, solidly-built microwave.
