First I looked at a few sets of other brushes from other manufacturers. There were far fewer brushes and many things I needed were not available. In fact, I was disappointed with some of the limited edition brushes that came with other sets. There are so many different brushes in this set and they are so important. Especially for beginners who don't know what they are for like me! A lot of the other kits I've bought didn't have smaller brushes that I could use to "cut wrinkles" for example. It has all the brushes you can think of. The only problem is I paid about half what it's worth now. Is it worth? I would check other prices but I think that's probably still the case. I haven't lost any bristles and no cracked brushes but if they did I would return them. It is better to buy more expensive brushes and be able to wash them repeatedly. I didn't wash them that often because I don't use them that often. The less work I have to do, the better!. But some of the new techniques I see on YouTube are cool.
