I think the brushes were fine. There was extra plastic on the fan brushes. I think this was done so the two brushes wouldn't break? But when I pulled them out of the plastic thing, their hair was sticking up. The brushes were quite soft. And when I applied the product to the brushes I didn't see the product get on the brushes or my face. And I would love it if they would label the brushes and say it's a witch brush.

First I looked at a few sets of other brushes from other manufacturers. There were far fewer brushes and many things I needed were not available. In fact, I was disappointed with some of the limited edition brushes that came with other sets. There are so many different brushes in this set and they are so important. Especially for beginners who don't know what they are for like me! A lot of the other kits I've bought didn't have smaller brushes that I could use to "cut wrinkles" for example. It…

The price for the number of brushes is great but you definitely get what you pay for. Big brushes are best for powders, small brushes are too hard for shadows. they don't go very well together. They look cheap and don't hold the product well. It will be a great gift for those who are just starting to use cosmetics.
