As you can see from the photos I had to trim the bottom of the barn door to fit my bedroom. The bumper is high enough to guide the door but works very well. The door slides smoothly, without play. I've had the guide in place for a few months now and the bolts haven't come loose. Even if they were, they are very easy to tighten.
