Of course they clean perfectly. But when my young niece and I were making battered fishcakes, she conjured one up and put it in the fryer to prank Uncle Scott! Well, I'm making a mediocre tempura batter with Old Bay spices and Yuengling Pale Ale. I unknowingly tossed this pup with its golden brown batter on a kaiser bun with tarter sauce, lettuce and tomato and it tasted AWESOME! The taste was way better than regular fishcakes, which my niece says is because she cleaned the inside of the oven with a pad before breaking it. Anyway, I have a new favorite, and the bonus is that fish cakes usually contain virtually no fiber. Problem solved!
