Excellent purchase. Excellent quality, easy installation. No more rushing home to let the dog out.

I have two dogs that are 4.5 years old. One weighs 106 pounds, the other weighs 62 pounds. I got this door because my big boy broke my friend's electronic door by pulling it off its hinges. They were also afraid to use it because it was white and you couldn't see anything through it. This solved both of those problems. This door is big enough for both dogs to squeeze through side by side (and if they're excited, they will). They love that it's transparent and they can look through to see the other side. Sometimes they still feel what it's like outside and just stick half their bodies in, breathe the air for a few minutes and come back in. The double valves seal very well. I've never noticed a cold or warm draft, even in Houston. However, the magnet is not very strong and the doors swing open when it is windy. I have a covered porch over the door, but during heavy storms the water sometimes gets to the bottom. When I'm home it's fine, I just put the plastic door back in place and the problem is solved. Dogs love freedom. I work 12 hour shifts so they don't like to wait for me to come home to pee. You can do it, but now they are much more convenient. Another big plus is that if I spend the night elsewhere I have something to eat and drink and the big boys can fend for themselves! Installation was much easier than expected. If you have useful skills, don't pay anyone to install it! I installed this on a fiberglass door with decorative panels. Simply drill corner holes according to the template, take a jigsaw and connect the holes, insert each side of the door and tighten the screws. I taped the seams inside and out. This is mainly important on the outside, but since the decorative panels create places where they don't match, I went ahead and did both sides. Sealant is cheap and it's better to be safe than sorry. I used to have an all-glass rear door and bought a new fiberglass door for it. This was silly because I literally cut out half of the new door to fit a dog door! This is a great purchase. No more rushing home to let the dog out. Excellent quality. I will buy again if I move.
