Review on Senco A301750 Gauge Bright Finish by David Carmody

As of this date, the description of this product is incorrect. These are not galvanized nails, they are smooth nails with a "shiny finish". I reported this to Revain customer service about a week ago but they haven't fixed it yet. The correct part number for galvanized nails of this size is A301759 for a 700 pack and DA19EABN for a 4000 pack. Ho-- D-po- carries a pack of 4000 for about 30 pieces. In case you don't know, galvanized nails are commonly used outdoors. They have a sacrificial coating that will corrode first before the steel in the nail begins to rust. The "bright" finish nails are cleverly named to distract from the fact that they essentially have no finish, just bare steel (possibly oiled or waxed). They are intended for dry (indoor) use.
