Much better than standard filters.
My car would smell like a pond if you turned off the AC but left the fan running so I replaced the standard filter with this one. Before using it I already knew it would be orders of magnitude better because it has activated charcoal and I use it in my tank to make the water crystal clear. Installation was easy and they included a printout of the installation steps for those who haven't already. After installation, I went for a walk and immediately noticed that switching the air conditioner eliminated the smell of water in the pond. Even walking by I didn't smell as much outside as I used to.
