I liked a few things about the DVD drive. I like how it's plug and play. I didn't want to waste time or energy trying to figure out what software to download. I also like that it's durable. I also like the fact that there are two options: it charges via the computer's USB connection, or it charges via its own power cord. I haven't done heavy work with it yet, but I understand that having a separate power cord allows the DVD player to record and re-record, as well as perform heavier tasks easier and faster. I also like that it's USB 3, which means it's faster than the slower USB 2. Finally, I really like the case. I've been looking at sturdy, decent cases and they're between $10-$15 a piece, so this is a good buy. I highly recommend this Guamar 5-in-1 External CD DVD Drive.
