. Bought in anticipation of direct replacement, it's not! The end cap that says 'no' in the description is part of the filter but has a lip that prevents the factory nut from grabbing the threads making it useless. I've tried removing the plug and installing the original plug that came with the vacuum, but it doesn't fit the filter. I had to remove the new connector, cutting off the protrusion with a razor blade so it could be used. it doesn't fit but I need it for a project I'm working on so I'll be buying a new one somewhere else. You don't have to work that hard to use the item you just bought.
