Does what it should, but not a perfect solution. I got this because I didn't have enough room for a spare tire on my 2012 JKU after fitting another aftermarket rear bumper. I just had to push the tire out a little more. It gets the job done, but also raises the wheel and blocks much of the view into the rear window. I set the tire mount as low as possible. The holes are large enough for the wheel lugs on the spare wheel mount, but not large enough for the shoulder on the lugs to fit snugly into the mount. I had to drill a little more holes to get it to sit flush. Also, the welded studs on the rail side of this mount are not very long. They are long enough to secure the bar, but make it very difficult to get the bar onto the mount and stay on the mount while you take the lug nuts to install. All in all, after some work with it, it does what it's supposed to and lifts the tire unnecessarily. I'll probably just find a wheel spacer to bolt to the trunk and use that instead. Should have gone this route from the start.
