Review on 🔧 Dorman 419-301: All-In-One Belt Tensioner Assembly for Dodge / Jeep Models by Chad Baio

Very good workmanship, equal or better than OEM quality. I used this on a 98 foot Jeep Grand Cherokee 5.2 V8. Pretty easy to install, you have to remove the coil and battery. If you don't remove the battery, you may not have enough room to work. VERY IMPORTANT: The tensioner is attached to a stud that also serves as a ground for the PCM and alternator. Once you have the tensioner in place, be sure to clean (let it shine!) the spade lugs and tighten them very well and in the correct order. My jeep had no power after installing the tensioner and it turned out that I hadn't properly tightened the ground clamps. Once I cleaned and tightened the terminal it started right up with no issues!
