Parts arrived in 10 minutes today, my Maytag gas dryer model #LDF512 was working again. There may be a problem with my Maytag dryer. The dryer has been the workhorse for the last 12 years. I replaced my dryer fan wheel about 3 years ago because it was making a horrible noise when it turned on. Thanks, YouTube helped me replace this part. Now my symptoms were clothes not completely dry, dryer heats up intermittently, ignition is on and gas is on for a while (5 minutes) but then shuts off. out. Eventually he dried the clothes, but it took three times as long. One thing I tried was using a DMM to see if the parts were bad but it showed the parts are good (maybe the gauge was abusing) but I figured less than $9 I'm going to try them out and I'm so glad I did. Another good site for information was repairclinic.com. I entered my model number and it showed me all the OEM parts and part numbers. what i need for my dryer, great time saver. They also have some great videos on how to replace these parts, they sell the same part for twice the price, it was easy to buy here at Revain. gave me access to the burner, igniter and those coils, didn't have to remove the front cover for this repair, cool. However, I pulled the dryer out of the wall and blew out all the vents to cover all the bases. My wife helped by putting some wet clothes in the dryer right after I changed the bobbins. Thanks dear for your help... good test, the dryer is working properly again, made my wife very happy... and you know what they say... Happy wife, happy life...
