Review on Cisco-Linksys WRT320N: The Ultimate Dual-Band Wireless-N Gigabit Router by Jason Ballard

Revainrating 2 out of 5

Unreliable networking products

I bought this product for a regular internet router, no extreme usage or anything other than connection. Initially, the product worked practically out of the box. It only took me about 5 minutes to get everything working but after a few hours it crashed. It lost all connections to everything so I restarted it. After that he worked until the end of the day. Seems to be a great router. Correctly. Not right. The next day the router didn't work for more than two minutes and I was about 15 feet away from it. I restarted it one more time and didn't even have any luck. Oddly enough I thought my distance was too far so I didn't go further than 3ft from him and it STILL didn't work. After about 5 hours of rebooting, resetting and going through the different routes the guide pointed out, I realized that the product, or at least my product, wasn't worth the hype. So hear my rating: 5* Features, 3* Ease of Use1* RELIABILITY2* Wireless Range. I'm no internet router guru but I can tell you this product is not what I'm looking for. Maybe mine was just a scam but I don't want to waste my time hoping for a working product

Pros
  • Quality construction
Cons
  • Definitely bad product
