In the past we had quite a few different brands of ice cube trays that looked like they would last as we could see at a stone store. After about a few months of using these other trays, they began to crack at the connection points of the cubes and water was seeping through them. After spending some time looking for ice trays that will last more than a few months, we came across these Kitch Easy Release Ice Trays. We've had these Kitch Ice Cube Trays for about 9 months now and they are definitely strong and designed for the twist needed to break ice. We usually fill each cube just below the dividing line and freeze it. By putting a tray in the freezer we are putting it under another tray which can cause them to freeze together. We simply rotate the top ice tray that we want to use to separate the two trays and start breaking the ice into individual cubes. then these Kitch Ice Trays are definitely a good buy.
